Pavich Organic Raisin Cake |  |
4 eggs
2 cups raw sugar (turbinado sugar)
1½ cups canola oil
2 cups wheat flour
2 teaspoons salt |
½ teaspoon baking soda
2 teaspoons cinnamon
½ cup chopped nuts (pecans/walnuts)
1 cup Pavich Organic Select Thompson Seedless Raisins |
Preheat oven to 350° F. Beat eggs until fluffy. Add sugar and oil gradually. Sift
flour, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon together, and add raisins and chopped nuts. Combine
thoroughly with eggs, sugar, and oil. Oil and lightly flour a 9- x 13-inch cake pan. Pour
in batter and bake in a 350° F oven for 30-35 minutes. Serve plain or dusted with
powdered sugar. Serves 8. |
